Thank you for taking her in! That woman should be ashamed for letting her get to such a ghastly condition! THis iguana was suffering for a LONG time! Those look like burns all over her body, but who knows????? I didn't know mites could ever get that bad. AHHHHHHHHHHHH the anger I feel when looking at those photos!!! Perhaps they are burns and mite damage. This iguana needs a vet ASAP-- I'm telling you these photos are in the top 5 worst iguana abuse photos I have EVER seen in my life. I hope she can make it through all of this. My prayers are with you and this poor iguana. Read Melissa Kaplan's info on getting rid of mites--I'll provide link below. Start on the application of triple antibiotics and whatever else BabyHerp suggested below. Please find a very qualified HERP VET to help you on this one.
