Wow JC...not an answer to your questions but a message of support.
That poor iguana looks horrible...I wish you luck on helping it heal correctly and fully, and comend you for taking this poor creature in and giving it another chance. I really really felt strongly when i saw those photos. Good luck, and hopefully the iguana can rebound from such horrible wounds.
