If Ig had a sore in its mouth or on lip would.......????

If there was a sore would my Ig still eat alot?? I noticed today that at one point my 3 foot Ig's lips were slightly seperated on one side and pinkish....is that normal?? I did approach her while she was eating, and she closed her eyes, maybe she just didnt close her mouth all the way?? She eats like crazy and I dont seee any obvious cut or anything.....
