: i have heard that adding small amounts of food coloring to you'r ig's food is a safe way to change the color of an ig....does this hold water?
Not to CHANGE it...but maybe enhance it....as Fluker Farms does with their "BLUE DIAMOND IG FOOD" for the blue diamond igs they sell. Same thing.... color enhancers...same as food colors sold for red factor canaries to bring out that dark red coloration.
What will really blow your mind...is the use of artificial flavors (say strawberry) on carnivores eggs during incubation..the hatchling crocs will eat any foods with artificial strawberry flavor on them! CARNIVORES!!
So I wouldn't discount anything! Don't know of any studies done on iguanas & food coloring tho. If you try it let us know what your findings are.
