Try cleaning it real good with betadine/ povidone-iodine solution or Nolvasan. Early am & late night are "down ig times" less active and a bit more cooperative. Gently but firmly pull down on the dewlap and see if there is any mouth rot (kinda yellowish looking plaques like lemon yogurt along inside mouth). Many times iguanas get what I call the "crusties" in the cracks of their mouths towards the back jaw dark brn irritation can be because of chronically eating food that is not cut small, and trying to manipulate it in their mouth... irritating/scraping the mouth/gum line. Ive used a Qtip dipped in betadine to keep it clean with good results....now the lump may be a scratch that has now abscessed. A vet would need to treat it. Do yer best to keep it clean until vet visit.
Povidone-iodine generic name of Betadine sold as "hospital antiseptic" in first aid section of major drug stores or feed stores (can get Nolvasan there too)
