Read all you can about iguanas. Get the proper lights, learn about what to feed your ig, get as big a cage as possible, and handle your iguana regularly. If you don't already know of a vet in your area that treats iguanas, try to find one. The last thing you want is to have a sick or injured ig and not know where to take it.
