Neither one is at all good for your ig, Bill. In fact, most "substrates" aren't. There is too much of a chance of impaction if an ig eats it and you know how much igs like to taste everything. Around here, we switched over to a fairly cheap, good quality carpet for our 6x6x3. The money we saved on substrate the first month alone was enough to go out and buy a small carpet cleaner. Now, since everyone is "tub trained" here, if there ever IS an accident we just pull out the little green machine and clean things up.
You might want to check out HerpSupplies.com if you're having difficulty finding any supplies near you though....Excellent company. We do all of our iguana business there exclusively....
