it'd prob'ly be easier to give you a list of *good* stuff rather than bad ... but ... definitely rule out any kind of animal protein ~ that includes all meat + fish, eggs, any kind of cheese or yogurt, etc ... breads + things like that are OK in small amounts, but should be more of a treat than a regular part of the diet ...

Jen has a good table on her site with good ig foods ~ The Basking Spot ...

begging at the supper table hey??? i had a little bunny that was just *terrible* about doing that ~ + if you didn't have anything on your plate that he *could* eat or that he liked, he'd bite your ankle ... so ... 2 thoughts on the begging part:
either don't allow it, put him in the other room when you eat (like my poor mis-treated Milo-puppy) ... OR ... bring something healthy for the ig along with your plate + when he begs, give him a big chunk of greens (like we did with Bunster) ...when he follows you to the table why not set a nice plate of greens down for him???

glad to hear that he's found a good home with you! i like hearing about *fat* igs!!!! *grin*

Bon. + iZ
