OUCH!!My ig bit me!

Well I was sitting there watching TV and My Iggy snuck up on my foot and decided it was close enough to another lizard to mate with!!aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!! It took a nice chunck out of my foot and would have kept it up had i not picked him right up and ask him just what he thought he was doing?LOL! He seemed to have that far away look and than came back down to earth. He is 3 feet long and usually not that aggressive, I do have to watch him around my feet though. He has bit me a couple times before too! Once I had been making Won ton soup and my hands were all smelling of sausage! He crawled up my leg and started putting his tongue out like crazy~~ I did not move quick enough and he took a bite!LOL~~ OWWWWWWWW~~ Also for no apparent reason he walked up on me and just bit my arm! He did not even seemed maddened at all???? My husband thinks I am nutty for putting up with all this abuse!hehehe~~ I of course just love my iggy~~ He is spoiled rotten!( I think my husband is jealous) He likes to sit in the window and soak up the sunlight and warmth(when its warm and sunny out i open the window and let him have direct sunlight!I always let him out when i am home~(funny how they know when you are late)Always when the sun goes down he heads off to HIS closet and finds a nice cozy place to sleep(high in the closet) Before i go off to bed i have to go collect him (because i can not control the nighttime temps in our house to well) and stick him in his cage. He has gotten used to me picking him up while he is sleeping and usually hardly opens his eyes. sometimes however he gets mad and kinda hisses and swells up/ I think he would rather I left him in the closet. As soon as summer gets here it should not be a problem. I have to say that since getting my iggy Its very hard for me to go out of town!(worse than a doggie!)LOL~ Its not so much that i can't get my sister to look after him its more that i hate to not be there for him! Funny how these green monstors work there way into our hearts! Have you loved your Ig today???
