Found this interesting thing called ARROW ROOT.
It originates from South America.
It is used in OUR cooking as a "thickener" in place of corn starch for various sauces involving fruits, used in Hawaii and the Orient.
So what the heck does it has to do with the iguanas?
Well, friend of mine has an ig that relishes fruits, especially grapes, mango, pineapple, apricot, and peaches. Did i mention bananas?
Of course, when it is all finely chopped and puree`d, it is basically a fruit punch. So he went off with the lil experiment of mixing an x amount of arrow root powder (very fine and white, similar to ginger root powder), which is basicallly tasteless, and made the "punch" into a nice pudding. Success!
Now, my fellow iguanids, I must ask: is it good? or is it bad? Or is it so insignificant you dont care? hehehehe.....
Questions and comments are welcomed, but an asnwer is preferable.
Thank you all in advance!
