The whole point is to keep working at it BEFORE he does get big--- then you don't have to worry about having a wild ig on your hand (unless you are Harry's Dad). Anyway, just wrap him in a towel so his face can see you and hold him until he is calm for short periods. When he stops struggling, wait a minute or so, then let him go back in his cage. Make him associate you with treats (food) and warm baths, gentle talking, etc. Sleestack thought we were going to kill him too LOL-- it is frustrating at first but you'll get there. Read the links given to you below for more help. I've also heard that if you put a worn tshirt with your scent in the cage, this helps him recognize you and get used to you.
