Egging questions?

Hi All... Zabout 2 or more weeks ago, Zoe laid 42 eggs. About a week went by & she was feeling better. Well, guess what? She has started digging again.... and all she wants to do is DIG! The problem is, her nesting spot of choice is my waterbed. I let her lay the 42 eggs there but now we are back to her wanting only to be on my bed & digging constantly. I let her go to see how long she would continue... after 2 hours & several puncture holes in the vinyl bumper on the bed, I put her back in her enclosure.
Anyone understand wehy she is doing this? She cant POSSIBLY be getting more eggs - or can she?
