"dumb" moms out there that decides to let their 13 year old (15 now) make an impulse buy at the pet store without knowing jack. I'm a lot wiser now and also the principle care-taker of Baby and all the foster igs that come through here.

At first I was clueless and I shudder to think of Baby's first 8 months, diet, etc. in our household. But then my eyes were opened (my heart too....wide open!)to the wonder and beauty of raising these awesome creatures!

There is something ethereal and magical about being able to hold and tame a wild reptile, not to mention Potty Train!!!

If I could change anything, I'd love to come into some massive amounts of cash and build a new home with a room devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating Igs. (shhhhhh....don't let my hubby see this! He already thinks Im obsessed!.....oh yeah, he's right! *tee hee*)
I enjoyed reading all of your stories and no, xta, you're not crazy. I firmly believe that we will be reunited with our loved ones, including pets, again in the next life. (now everyone will think I'm ga ga! Ooopsie....oh well. ) J
