Well, I am the regular all to often type of Ig owner... or atleast thats how I started off.

I Have my little Lady Tarzan(a) for about 8 months now. How did I get her?? From the Wildwood, NJ Boardwalk. I paid a total of about $15 dollars... most of which went towards the little krittercarrier that came with her. She cost me about $6.99. The guy told me that she could live in my 10 Gallon tank at home for about 2-3 years... and after 7 years she'd be up to 6' long. How do you sex them I asked? My reply? "by the fat location on their body". What to eat? I won't even get started on all of the misinformation that I was given... I get angry just thinking about all of the other igs that were sold with that same misninformation.

She was glued to my head for a week or two... went everywhere I went. Ate iceberg and carrots for a week, then I went online.. and phwooooosh! all that info hit me like a ton of bricks... and I immediately built her her cage. it ended up being 1.5' long... 3' high... and 1.5' deep and Munched down on Greens and Squashes.

I do not regret any single thing about getting Tarzan. I love her to death. I have always been facinated with reptiles... Mom hates reptiles, amphibians, and rodents... I guess she won't be cooming over very often! lol. I got Tarzan with NO knowledge of Iguana husbandry. And now, I strive to shove accurate iguana info in people's faces so that they do not start off like I did.
One thing to change about her?? that she would act a bit more lady-like! lol. Those nails wouldn't be needle sharp even after I slave over her dainty little feet for 30 minutes trying to get her to sit still to trim them. AND last but not least... make up her Darn mind about what sex she wants to be! lol.
