I have Never in person seen an iggy bigger than two feet long (cant wait to see Double D LOL), Those gator rolls are amazing arent they, dd will do them in the tub if I want her to come out and she dosent LOL, there toes must be very easy to break as she has 4 or 5 that are broken, a few so bad they are regrown sideways. Good for you turnign that rotten kid in, I cant belive how some parents let there children behave and treat livign things, heck my girls get mad if I kill a fly even though they dont like flies LOL.

: I grew up in FL and always loved the anoles in the yard. As a child, I once gently stroked and comforted and cried for a dying green anole... he seemed grateful to have someone with him during his final moments... closing his eyes forever. A childhood bully used to torture the anoles and when I found out, I reported him for neglecting his dog (kept poorly too)-- I was a sneaky 4th grade activist. I remember thinking if I ever saw him do that, I would punch his lights out.

: Sometime during those years, during my regular visits to the corner petstore, I saw my first iguana. He was $200 and the biggest lizard I'd ever seen (probably a 3-4 footer). I visited him everyday and was mesmerized. I asked if they would take him out of the cage for me, and the owner did. He held him tightly to the floor as the iguana whipped and gator-rolled. I don't remember if I ever touched him. I think it was then and there that I figured one day I would tame one of these beautiful dinosaurs.

: It was probably 12 years later that I took in a rescue... and no, I had no experience and very little knowledge, but I knew I could do better than they did. So I researched and researched and here I am still researching after he passed away.(had him 6 years) And now I have Sleestack. Some days I am confident that I know a lot about iguanas and can even tell what they are thinking.... other days I worry that I've missed something. Iguanas are just so majestic and beautiful. I will always love them.

: If I could change one thing about Sleestack...hmm that is hard... I can think of a few things (don't let him see this) I would wish for him to be a little less neurotic, a bit more social, and not to have ripped his horn off and broken his fingers (most of these changes would be for his own well being-- except for the horn which is my aesthetic wish)
