Even after some resorption, she had 68 preovulatory eggs removed, totalling approx 1.5 pounds. She's now 6 pounds. She had a tough time sleeping last night and kept me up with all her fidgeting. *poor girl* Today, she's spending her day in a Reptarium to limit her movement (just for today tho). Her tummy really bothers her, she does the post-spay waddle and when she's resting, her tummy is lifted. THe other alternative is she sits like a dog. I have her on pain medication, calicum supplementation, baytril and silvadene cream. She goes back next Thursday for a followup visit & bloods. I have the eggs preserved, and can photograph that. Also, I may try to photograph her this afternoon, depending upon how she feels. I may have some photos of the actual surgery, since her vet's assistant took photos (for future lectures). Heh, Vega$ has been in a film, book, and magazine; now her innards will be known *lol*
