My 3 foot female started acting kind of funny yesterday. In the six months I've had her, she has NEVER refused food. Yesterday she did. She is climbing all over her cage trying to get out (even though it is 6'x6'x3'). Tonight I came home and she had torn one of her claws COMPLETELY off!!! It is just a small bone spur where her claw used to be.

I got the bleeding stopped, cleaned it up, and bandaged it. I know it will heal, but I don't know what the problem is. I have several igs that have been healthy for years and I've never had any problems. She still turns her nose up at her salad. She will accept a few raisins and a couple small apple pieces but nothing else. She is wandering around the house like she is lost. COULD SHE BE GRAVID WITH INFERTILE EGSS??? I've never bred them because of the high mortality and abandon rate of baby igs so I haven't the slightest clue as to what to use for a nesting box if that is the case.

If anyone can help, please post or email me directly at: vanyul@hotmail.com. I am very desperate. She is like my child to me. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Vanyul
