I believe they inhibit calcium absorbtion to some degree. Sleestack loves them too, but he only gets a slice every great once in awhile. Slee really loves any fruit or anything sweet (stole a bite of my toast with rasberry jam and a bite of cookie once!) Some of his favorites are blueberries, raisens, strawberries, and melon. He really isn't too picky even with his veggies, thank goodness.

: Does anyone else out there feed bananas to their ig? Guapi likes them so much that he charges me and practically attacks me when he sees bananas in my hand for him. I was wondering if anyone knows of any reason why I should limit his intake. The other night he ate a whole one in less than two minutes. I still make sure he gets plenty of his regular diet of collard/ mustard greens and veggies. I don't want him to overdo it on the bananas if they aren't good for him, but i do enjoy feeding him them because he gets so excited. Just out of curiosity , what are some of your igs favorite foods?
