I use very dark lights, but Sleestack sleeps on top of the cage, so he doesn't see it anyway. The beardie does not seem to be bothered by his light at all-- he seems to fall into a comma as soon as it comes on and the regular light goes off. He doesn't even make it to his hidey hut but sleeps near his last basking spot. It really barely emits any light-- it's hard to even see in the cage at all.
