Gus looks great! AS for outdoor enclosures try checking Jen Swoford's Iguana cage page. She's made more ig cages (than me) and there are pics of them at her site so check that out. As for leaving him out in the rain, it probably wouldn't kill him but I wouldn't do it. Just bring him in. You don't need a HUGE cage indoors then because it won't be used all the time, only when it rains. Also supplemental heating at night, hmmmm, Try just using a ceramicc heating element. Those work great when it gets too cold, but be carefull that it doesn't get wet (from dew or rain) electricity and water don't mix. hope some of this helps.
