shedding is good ~ means he's growing!
and if you're feeding him a good, healthy diet, you *can't* feed him "too much"!!! igs won't over-eat, he'll stop when he's full ... and getting "too fat" is not usually a problem that igs have!
as far as him eating in the middle of the nite ~ i wouldn't worry about that at all, i've seen younger igs do that ~ it's just cuz they're growing soooo fast, it burns up alot of calories and they are just hungry alot more often ... after all, he's still a 'baby' and babies need to eat more often than adults ... it's something that he will outgrow with time ...
*if* his enclosure is warm enough 24 hr a day, then him eating at strange hours will *not* hurt him and there is *no* reason to not put a couple of leaves in his enclosure at 'bedtime' for him to eat in the middle of the nite!
if he wants to eat, feed him! try making his afternoon salad a bit bigger, maybe he's not getting enough, otherwise, don't worry about it! feed him when he says he's hungry! he'll grow up soon enough and sleep thru the nite ... same as human babies ... *grin*
best wishes!!
Bon. + iZ
