Don't know of any edible plants "native" to Alberta off hand. Ive heard of the Canada Plum while its fruit is edible (minus pit) I don't think any other part of it would be. Canada moonseed berries are toxic and should not be fed to an iguana. You may want to check with a local nursery or horticulturist for list of edible plants, grasses and wildflowers native specifically to Canada.
