Well...you can seal off the room/close any doors and dismantle your entertainment center fetch him that way. A baby lizard can stay hiding a long time...a couple of weeks...and perhaps starve themselves to death before they'll come out. Its best for YOUR piece of mind to try and move it and rescue him. For future reference: if your going to handle your ig to tame him/use the bathroom with the toilet seat down or similar small enclosed room. My ADULT igs can leap 5-7 feet straight over into neighbors yards from trees, basking shelfs, just because they want to! and igs in the wild will plunge @60 feet from above to get away from predators, and not injure themselves...so expect future escape attempts!!
