The change to a very good diet WILL affect shedding for the GOOD! He will slow down in a year or two when he begins to max out growth wise..with spring & summer ^ eating = growth/^shedding. I wouldn't feed him too late at night. Early am, then afternoon but remove food before lights out and don't feed him again,he'll get used to the routine. I'd also have him checked out for parasites as a precaution. GGIs should be checked for endoparasites every 6 months or so. Lots of parasite ova in unwashed vegetation, due to abrupt temp changes, ph changes in gut, antibiotic use, stress, lots of things can cause an explosion of bad bacteria/parasite growth.
