Alex,
It frustrates me to an extent that you did not bother(or so I am to assume) to read the follow- ups to your last post regarding the same animals.
But rather than dwell on it,I will try to help. The following info is straight out of the Aug.'97 issue of REPTILES magazine, and was written by Bruce Elfstrom:

Gorrobo,Central American spiny-tailed iguana(Ctenosaurus similis)
This is the widest-ranging,and therefore most common,of all Ctenosaura. It ranges from Isthmus of Tehuantepec,Mexico, south to the Panama Canal. It is also the largest of the genus; males can grow to 1.5 meters, and females can grow longer than 1 meter (weights of more than 2.5 kilograms are not uncommon). Coloration in males ranges from a blue gray base with white or yellow and black chevrons, to a brown base with large amounts of burnt orange interspersed between the chevrons and around the face. Males have large crests(sometimes taller than 4 centimeters)that extend all the way to the bases of their tails. This lizard is eaten by humans over most of it's range, and even with this hunting pressure, it often dwells inside cities and towns. Even though it's very common, this spiny tail is still one of the most beautiful and varied in color of all the Ctenosaura.

So there it is.Hopefully I did it justice. They include many others in their species accounts, the only two that have mention of the Honduras listed as the site of origin, are Ctenosaura oedirhina & Ctenosaura palearis.I hope this helps, and I would hope you go back also and read the follow ups to your last post.
