: Well ... as if having one gravid female in the house isn't enough ... Dr. George believes that Jimmie is gravid as well. We can feel what seems like eggs and you can see something on the x ray (which she wasn't very cooperative about which is why they aren't good enough to make a definet diagnosis). I am very concerned about her "condition". She is just so small to be developing eggs .... The good doctor tried to convince me that everything will be fine but I dunno .... I guess only time will tell!

: He lanced the absess on her toe. She has to take Baytril for the next 10 days. He cleaned the wounds on her face but beyond that there is nothing he can really do for her on that end. He did say we will constantly need to clean the exposed area of her jaw with betadine to keep it from becoming infected. He did confirm the MBD. It has really affected her jaw.

: Blood work came back with slightly high levels of blood calcium which he said is fine for a gravid female. Gotta chaulk that up to good diet as we haven't supplemented for the past 7 days!!

: She was such a good girl at the vet today. Actually she is a good girl every day! The tail whipping stopped after a few days and now she looks to be stroked and rubbed. She allows me to clip her nails and even turns around so I can get the other side. A few days ago she lost some puss from her mouth area and ever since then I have noticed that she is able to fully open her mouth!! I'm also noticing that she appears to be rehydrating (for lack of a better word). Since she figured out that she can eat as much as she wants every day she's been packing away the fresh veggies and fruit treats -while she is urinating alot, I've notice a dramatic improvement in her overall appearance and skin texture. Even the area of her face damaged in the cat fight seem to be almost filling out a little. Not to mention the fact that she has gained a little weight, enough to notice just by looking at her!

: I am just so amazed at the progress she has made in such a short amount of time! These animals never cease to amaze me!!
