i have a black CLOUD over me!
i've heard that growing collards is s'posedly fool-proof and that they grow like weeds ... ummm, not in my yard! the 1st year i tried, the neighborhood yard bunnies had a party + chomped every single one to the ground ... (we had fat yard bunnies that year!) ... ok, next year, i made 2 dozen little green chicken wire cages to protect my "any-fool-can-grow-'em" collard greens!! (HA! lots of frustrated bun-buns!) ... that crop was mauled by insects so badly that it killed the plants ...

i decided the *HECK* with growing collards, they're extremely plentiful at the co-op here anyway ... but dandelion greens are about impossible to find even at the co-op and how hard can it be to grow dandelions?!?!!?? let's just say that the yard bunnies LOVE my yard to the point where they're not even afraid of Milo-puppy (the sharpei who thinks he's Alpha Dog of All, Ruler of All he Surveys) ... i'm thinking of getting a 50# bag of pellets + just feed the buns ... *grin* ...

GOOD LUCK!
Bon.
