This is young Salvador who I rescued... notice the bad scarring on his belly from heat rocks. It actually looked 100x worse when he was brought to my doorstep-- it was scabbed up very thick--brown and red and he still continued to sit on the rock (it is all he knew) Eventually the scab fell off and he never healed or peeled properly in that area (the scales were forever deformed and melted together)

Don't take the chance. Get a heat bulb.
