Since it is eating all the sudden fresh foods, he is taking everyday large amounts of water in his system, (large because u mentioned h "finally" is eating fresh veggies, n they contain water).

Temps in the enclosure can cause it too, being too high or low. But the main cause known to me and friends of mine is the drastic change of diet, which can also cause diarrhea. Stress may be a cause as well, as he's a newbie in ur household, and the change of enviroment can stress him ot a bit.

Thats all I could find for possible answers. Of course, the vet visit will definately make all the hypothesises go away, and give u a straight answer.
Good luck!

: Our newest resident, Jimmi, is coming along just fine with one somewhat disturbing problem. She's peeing upwards of 3x a day. We've never run into this one yet so who better to ask than y'all out here....Fluid exchange seems to be fine as she's drinking daily but we're just wondering what this could be...Not sure if it's a reaction to finally getting fresh food daily and her system's a bit off because of it or if there could be a problem.

: She's scheduled to go in Friday for a full once over and to possibly see what can be done with the empty eye socket that was never closed so we'll have a professional opinion soon enough. Just wanted to see if anyone has run into this before....
