keep you from enjoying some of the best info on the web concerning Iguanas! If you plan on adopting, that's great! Just to give you an idea of how Iguanas can be known to have stress when housed with other animals.....we have a new foster Ig named Godzilla (alias Mr. Z) He was very edgy and hard to work with before we picked him up. I truly feel the reason being is that he was housed in a room with several other Iguanas. Even though he was in his own enclosure, it stressed him out. Since being here, he has relaxed quite a bit. He can still be a little pain sometimes, but there are no other intimidating animals to worry about.
As far as this forum goes, you are judging it by one person's response, which, by the way, was really not all that bad! If you want sugar-coated advice then keep on going to the Ball python site, but I doubt you'll get much info on Igs there. We are all happy to help you in any way we can and hope you have the best of luck with your new adoptee. Anyone that cares enough to take an unwanted animal and give it a good home is pretty cool in my book! Take care, J
