T-B, - you are not sure about iodine or peroxide being helpful. Yet you are sure this condition is not serious. How can this be, if you have the medical experience/knowledge to judge the severity of this illness?

Neosporin, peroxide, etc. are wonderful items to have handy for scratches etc., but will probably be ABSOLUTELY USELESS on this most likely systemic problem. (Do you put iodine on measles?)

What would you think if you had sores of this type down your arms....put peroxide on it?!

You already have our opinions, and they are from a great wealth of experience, yet you have chosen to ignore it all.

If iguanas get an infection and it is left untreated, they die. They do not have immune systems like we do. Once they appear ill, it is usually too late to start antibiotics.

PLEASE TAKE YOU IG TO A VET. You are all he/she has to depend on to look out for her. And now we are all going to worry for your baby....!!
Please let us know what happens - we care.
