I'm in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which usually has worse weather than Candace's part of the country (LONG way away)

We have been blessed this winter though, temps have been above freezing for most of it, and the power has not been out once. My lawn is even starting to green (Yaaahhh!!)

Far cry from when I was a kid, 3' of snow all winter was normal, and missed at least a week of school every year due to weather.
