I make a 7-8 hour drive with my iguana every time I go home for breaks etc. And a combo of the hand warmers and a pretty warm car and shes fine. I don't think you have to worry too much, Just don't leave her alone in the car, it'll get either too cold or hot.. If you're ok in jeans and a tshirt, your ig will be ok. (I keep her in a big laundry rubbermade thing with holes punched in the lid.)
