We do NOT house multiple iguanas in the same cage ! Other then that I have to agree with you . I would also add to the " IF YOU CAN'T PROVIDE A " category ..
#1 A good diet
#2 Time
#3 A VET
#4 Love and attention
#5 Heat
#6 light
#7 Fresh water daily
#8 Fresh food daily
#9 A CLEAN cage
#10 A comment to your animal . This means it's entire LIFE . Not until it gets big , takes to much of my time , my new wife don't like it , I am having a kid , I am moving , I got a new job and so on .

And I am sure I missed a few things . But as I am one of us who has to pick up the remnants and nurse them back to health and then have to find them a home .
