The post by iZ's mom is good. The only thing I can add is maybe some help on getting his mouth open. Sometimes if you rub the top of their head while gently pulling on the dewlap they cooperate. Also holding the upper jaw and pulling on the lower jaw or dewlap while gently blowing into their face is sometimes successful. The towel and covering the head will help keep him calm. If you have someone to help laying him flat and wrapped on a table helps also as he will feel more secure. If you work at it you will be able to open the mouth. If all else fails opening the mouth holding the upper and lower jaws can be done. Common sense here don't apply so much pressure that you injure him. As iZ's mom said be careful about how much you put in at one time because major problems can result if it gets into the lungs. Please let us know how things work out for him and in the future moisten prepared foods. Gatoade 50/50 with water will help hydrate as well as the other things iZ's mom told you about.Good luck, Iguana03
