the iguana head seems to shed more than any other part (at least that is the experience I've had with mine) and my theory is that the head changes shape the most. When I look at photos of my iguanas when they were young, they have a blunt nose that doesn't protrude a lot, but as the years go by, the head gets huge, and the end of the face is stretched outward greatly-- kinda like in the movie "American Werewolf in London"!
Anyway, Sleestack is shedding like crazy right now but his face is still shedding 2-3x as often as the rest of his body. I wouldn't worry-- they shed when they need to shed, where they need to shed. As long as the shed is coming off and not getting built up & stuck, don't sweat it.
