Ok #1 one meal worm a day for a few months will NOT cause you iguana to drop dead . However there is ever increasing amount of data that says the TO MUCH animal protein can cause long term kidney problems . If he told you to use the meal worms forever I would say that is a bad idea if however he said give them to him for a few months he might have found a problem that a boost of protein could help . As a GENERAL rule I would NOT recommend feeding any animal protein as a regular part of there diet .
