Sick Iggy.. :(

Hey all...I've had ig's over the past 15 years, but Indy is thrwing me for a loop, and my vet....he has his own room with the standard lighting, vitalights, etc...but I noticed his eyes were really blooshot one day and he was failing to eat...we took him in and he was diagnosed with pneumonia and asepasemia (sp?). He's been on Batril for about a month now and I've feeding him with a syringe. He seems hungry, but it looks like it hurts if he eats on his own. Last night, after giving him his shot, he went into the corner to get away from me...I then noticed he was bleeding....he had completely broken off 2 nails, all the way down to his finger...they did bleed, so blood clots are not the concern..I was just wondering if any of your igs have had the same...expecially the bloodshot eyes....
