hey ~ what i use for iZ's various climbing things + shelves is plain old plastic mesh ~ Wal-mart or Menards have it ~ cheap and VERY easy to work with and nooooo wharp edges ... it's stood up to iZ jumping on and leaping at it just fine, so it should be strong enough for Lucy too ... i wouldn't use it for an outdoor enclosure, but for indoors, it should be fine ... black is the "most invisible" color btw ...
