Congrats on your pregnancy!! My husband and I had an iguana and a couple of bearded dragons when we had our two babies. We were ALWAYS very careful about where the herps were kept and about washing our hands but when my son was just a couple of months old he became sick and tested positive for salmonella. I don't know if this is true but I have heard many reports that a baby can get it just by being in the same room as the herps. We were very careful but somehow he contracted it. Good Luck!
