My briend named the Petco Ig...

Well, after almost exactly a month since we got him, my boyfriend has finally come up with an appropriate name for the Petco iguana: "Bobit" The reasons are two-fold:

He is CONSTANTLY bobbing his head. He's a compulsive bobber! Never any threats of biting or tail whipping, just a lot of bobbing. In fact, we called him "Bobby" for a couple days, but then the other day when the vet confirmed that his hemipenis did in fact come off, that was just too much for my boyfriend to resist, and he sited the "John Bobit" case as his inspiration for the new name.
So the new name has a duel meaning. #1)It fits because of "bobbing" his head all the time, and #2)because Mr. John Bobit tragically lost his "male member"--just like the Petco ig did. Pretty crass, I admit, but it seems to have stuck around here. So, from here on out, I guess I'll be calling him Bobit.
Habib's nick names are "Beebs" and/or "Beebers", so I guess now we have "Beebers" and "Bobit".
