it may be though the surrounding as well.
From the "safety" and compactness of the cage, to a whole new and open surrounding, the iguana may feel insecure, and vulnerable. Iguanas in general hate any sort of changes temporarily.
Or it may be the egg thing as mentioned.
Get rid of the mites quickly, so she can be "back home" again.
: Hey guys first off I appreciate all your guggestions on my previous problems, now I got another question.
: I'm in the proccess of treating my old cage against my mite problem, MaryJane (my ig), is at home and finaly mites free. Temperaraly she's in the small cage, but pretty much free to roam around the house if she whants. The problem is that she refuses to eat, behaves nasty and hasn't pooped in 4 days now. Is this because she's in the new surroundings? My vet is away 'til friday so I can't ask her. I just hope my ig is ok, she's always been eating well and pooping everyday. I suspect she might have eggs, could this be the reason she's not eating and the rest?
: thanks
: Alex
