: wow ~ when y'all send up positive vibes you don't waste any time do ya!?!? i *think* maybe this is good news ... ???? you tell me ...

got iZ into the tub tonite, hoping + praying that what i'd been assuming was another bladder stone would be willing to be passed tonite ... and damn! with some help from humommy, he passed *another* huge stone! it's a rather flat oval/egg shape ~
1.75" x 1" x .5" ... *OWIE* ...

rinsed the tub out, hosed him off cuz he'd pooped all over himself (diarrhea) and he lay down + breathed a huge sigh of relief ~ there was a little blood from his vent but that seemed understandable and not something to worry about cuz it didn't appear to be on-going ...

he relaxed 10-15 minutes and then "assumed the position" AGAIN ... i thought oh NO, not another one!?!?!?

(gotta warn ya ~ this is GROSS)

without any difficulty, he passed a GIGANTIC CHUNK of what i *think* is a blood clot ... it's six inches long + varies in width but is generally the size of my finger ... and with that, he swished his tail and told me he was ready to get out now ...

even while he was straining with the stone, his color was good ~ he didn't seem stressed or in pain ... he ate more for supper than he has all week ~ he attacked his salad!!!! and then got grouchy and wanted to go upstairs to his room ... i checked on him an hour later and he's in his bed sleeping ~ he opened one eye + looked at me and i rubbed his head + told him to go back to sleep and rest ...

i don't know what to say ~ this is just really friggin' weird ...

the stone is formed around sutures ... AGAIN ... the clot had feces in it ... will talk to his vet in the morning ... planning on x-rays saturday to make sure there isn't another stone in there ... (tho i don't think any more would *fit* in his bladder) ...

i think this is good news???? i HOPE this is good news ... keep sending positive vibes tho! Thank You for caring about us!!!

Bon. + iZ
