According to our vet, high muscle enzymes can sometimes be a result of the iguana getting stuck with the needle for the blood test. This may not apply to your situation, but I thought it was an interesting tidbit of info that I would share.

When it comes to supplementation, we really do rely on our vet to help us make the best decisions. If he says that potassium is needed then your best bet, in most cases, is to follow his advice.
