Yeah his spikes are flopped to one side, as he romps around some spikes get fracture points and shed off. I think that is pretty natural for them. The Igs I've seen in the wild are quite mangled when it comes to spikes. Hes actually not to bad to handle, I let him do what he wants, once and a while I will force my will upon him and he lets me know that he's the one with skin and spikes like a saw blade! It really amazing how much damage he can do with one vigorous twist of his body. Hes my homeboy! I've used him to to shatter many myths and inform people about reptiles and herps in general.
