eating more

when i had my ig food chopped really small.i used the food proceser.but it didnt seen like he ate much then. but today i got fresh mustar and collard greens.but i didnt put them in the food proceser.i just chopped them in to little slices.and he is eating alot more.but since the food proceser.choppes the food up so small does it come out to the sam much that he has been eating when it was smaller?
