Spoiled iggys

Had to share this because IMHO it is just too cute! Diana sent us some pillows she made for all the iggys who live with us. At first no one really knew what to do with them. Mel decided that it was a "chair" and sat her rearend down on it. Dharma, gotta love her, sat there and head bobbed at it for about thirty minutes, licked it and kept flipping it over trying to figure out what the heck it was. Finally, at bedtime that night, Dharma figured out what it was and scrunched her body up until she was covering as much of the pillow as possible and fell sound asleep. It took Mel an extra day to figure out that the pillow was for her head and once she did, heaven help anyone who even so much as touches her pillow! She spends all day basking, with her head resting on the pillow and if you approach the enclosure she "guards" her pillow and gets all tense and fixes her tail like she'll whack you a good one! lol It's just too funny!

It really is the funniest site to walk in the room and see a four foot iguana protecting her little pillow! Mel also has decided that the flanel sheet is hers too! So there she is blanket and pillow all ready to take a nap or go to bed for the night! Our igs aren't too spoiled! lol
