HELP My friend's Iguana has mites!!!!!

HELP ME!

My friend has a green iguana, about 3ft, and he called and said he was looking at his iggy and noticed little black things jumping around on him. I told him to get some kinda parisite medication or some strips or something. I also hear about useing olive oil. Does that work? He also has a yellow rat snake and two corn snakes in the same room. Should he remove them?
Someone help!!!!!!
