Unfortunatly, I could write a book on this. My Kiwi produced infertile eggs for three years before she had an ovariohysterectomy. There is a very good article in the January issue of Reptiles on gravid Igs. Please get it. It would be a good place to start your research. Kiwi layed once, reabsorbed once, and was operated on. When she layed I had a box about 20X30 inches and 26" high. I had about 300lbs. of sand and some moss in it. She demanded that the sand be deep.
