Hi. As most of you know, I rescued an ig (Zoe) from a family that wasnt caring for her too well.
When she first got to my house (2/11) she was eating 2 big bowls of veggies a day. Well, for the past 4 days or so, her eating has slowed greatly... she isnt even finishing the one bowl. She "looks" ok & is active - always wants in & out of her enclosure...
She is hanging out directly below her heat though, which she didnt do before. I see her positioning herself several different ways so she can get her full body right under the heat. The temp up on her basking shelf is 92 & the rest of the enclosure is about 75 to 80.
I am not positive this is even a female as I havent been able to get her to let me look under her thigh. Oh & she head bobbed at me yesterday which she has never done... seems a bit irritable. Maybe SHE is a HE? Could this be the beginning of breeding season for Zoe?
ugh...
And, I dont think she is pooping AS MUCH (but this would coincide with less eating).
She is pooping daily though.
